Kouros Sazegar

Operating Partner at Dekos Capital, Kouros is responsible for identifying new opportunities and working with the team to create and implement value-creation plans

Kouros most recently spent three years as an operations consultant at PwC, where he helped companies streamline and improve their operations. At PwC, he worked with a diverse range of organizations, from rapidly growing startups that lacked sustainable growth strategies to established companies needing to refine their operations. His role was heavily focused on analytics, strategy and implementation, bringing clarity and structure to complex business challenges.

Prior to PwC, Kouros transitioned into the electric vehicle market, where he scaled a company specializing in selling and installing EV charging stations in Texas. He created processes for sales, marketing, and SEO, and revamped the company's go-to-market strategy.

Kouros began his career as production engineer for a Texas based E&P company, where he managed and optimized oil and gas wells to increase production and drive revenue, while implementing methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Kouros holds a BS in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.

Outside of work, Kouros enjoys staying active, playing sports, and traveling, and values time spent with friends and family.
